18k YG or 14k RG?
I have a new project to shoot for. With my pt earrings underway and Bella done, I'm now ready to start saving up for a warm gold ring.

I have found my inspiration rings:

Depending on design I was thinking unenhanced OEC or Asha OMC.

Having just got a 14k rose gold set, and having an 18k peach gold on the way, with an 18k rose gold band, I am going to say 18k yellow.

18k yellow.

One day, I'll be a crazy old lady weighed down by all my baubles and it will be glorious.

I'd say yellow gold too, or peach.

I am leaning towards 18k YG right now.

If I did coati remake, what size stones? Since the bezels are quite large. Us 6mm and 5mm sides too small?

I think the bezel would overwhelm the size, IMO I'd go bigger! 7.5 for the centre maybe? 6.5 for the sides? I can't picture it argh!

I do not think bigger is better. You have tried that, and it overwhelms your hand. 21-22mm is pretty full coverage on a 5.5. So I think the 6mm and 5mm sides with those bezels would be more than enough. Smile

RE: 18k YG or 14k RG?
If I did the first ring, an 8mm or 8.5mm unenhanced OEC would be perfect. If I did the prong ring, 8mm or 9mm OMC would do nicely.

That is my only hesitation with the 3-stone. Finding the right stone size to bezel proportions. I figured out that with no bezels, 7.5mm and 5mm sides was the perfect finger coverage for me.

I wonder if 6.5mm and 5mm would work.

The bezels could be made to the same proportion, kwim? So you could just tell whomever was making it you want the same stone to bezel proportion.

Uploading some more inspirado -- went back and read through all of RaiKai's posts as I have always loved her solitaire. Not a fan of the wavy aspect or her bands, but the basic bezel and brushed 18k YG:

Coati's giant solitaire:

(looking at coati's solitaire feels like I'm looking at my asha. Smile The asha is incredibly diamond-like )
