2.5mm too wide?
Hi all, I think I've given up on a custom scroll ring. It is so overwhelming for me with a gazillion ideas running through my mind on a constant basis. That said, I've been looking at settings I like and found this one from Brilliant Earth.

I'd have a 7 or 7.5mm OEC set in to it. My concern is that the band width would take over my slender 4.75 fingers. Opinions? Pictures of similar 2.5mm bands?

I don't have a pic of that, but do not think 2.5mm is too wide, even on a small finger. I thinkit is a really classic width. Smile

Oh wow, that's an amazing solitaire setting, I absolutely love it! It slightly reminds me of tacori actually. I've got a size 4 ring finger and have worn 2 to 4 or 5mm bands and they all look good.

I agree. I don't think it's too wide at all.

One day, I'll be a crazy old lady weighed down by all my baubles and it will be glorious.

RE: 2.5mm too wide?
@ChristineRenee5 - 2.5mm is a good width actually. My Amora gem 3 stone ring had a shank that was 2.25mm width and my finger is a size 5. A shank that wide is really comfortable to wear and remember things always look wider/bigger when magnified that much. Let me dig out some pics for you today so you can see what it looks like

They were able to find a picture of the actual ring on a finger for me! It's so pretty. She said she believes the center to be 6-6.5mm but it looks bigger to me (hopefully a 7mm isn't huge!) and the width doesn't look wide at all like I was afraid of. It must be the magnification in the images that always gets me.

That is beautiful. Love it! Custom is risky and nerve wracking for sure!
