Another sparkle journey
I've always knows I wanted a round solitaire (at least for one ring), but it has taken me quite a few attempts to get it right.

Timeline:

04/2011 - Engaged with a 1.25 carat RB Moissy

05/2011- Shrinkage sets in, plus the RB faceting is strange Confused

03/2012- Upgrade to 1.5 carat CZ as a place holder (debating between Wink RB and Moissy OEC). There was a period where I was trying to convince myself that I didn't like the OECs, I'm such a liar. Hide

09/2012- Bought moissy 1.5 carat unenhanced, LOVED it.............. but I think my CZ was closer to an 8mm or had a bright RB sparkle and I got a freakish case of shrinkage.

***** Brief stint in a sparkly rehab center*****

10/2012- 2 carat unenhanced OEC, with video!

I mean could I have gotten a simpler ring, why am I a nut DizzyDizzyDizzy

lol, I love your journey! I hope it is finally over for you, and that as soon as you get this baby, you feel it is prefect!

Classic is not a bad thing. There is something about a classic Tiffany style that is always beautiful.

I was wondering if that was your ring when I saw the video a few minutes ago!

I am Rofl at your brief stint in rehab. I can so relate!

One day, I'll be a crazy old lady weighed down by all my baubles and it will be glorious.

There is something so perfect about a simple solitaire! I do love the look especially with eternity bands.

Hahahaha thanks ladies, I think that's the thing about sparkles. If I bought a 1.25 carat for 8k and I had shrinkage I would just deal. But with sim sparkles you can keep trying until you get one that is IT.

I'm very excited to get my little paws on it. Banana

I think this ring will be cool to stack actually, but I have short fingers so we'll see.

Rofl Crackup

I like stacks, I need to build some. I get so distracted though. And just another ring...

RE: Another sparkle journey
Jcent, does the ring you bought to go with barely pink come in 1.5mm-ish?

Does anyone remember when I posted on BTD that this is IT, I am done with new sparkles.......... :p
