Bezel or octet?
I'm waffling now on the settings I want for my 6mm OECs (earrings).

I was initially planning on this one:
Sparkly eye candy found at thefacetlounge.com!

But since I've been an overspending fiend lately, if I go with those, I have to wait a while (setting all the little side stones jacks the price up a bit). Plus I'm still not sure about bezels. I never wear bezel anything. It seems like it might be more comfortable and wouldn't tangle in my curls. But I don't know. They can't be all that low-set, can they? My earlobes kinda stick out, so I don't want earrings that stick out a lot too.

I love the look of octet settings, too, esp after seeing JuBe's (I'd have gone for those if they weren't WG!). They're so pretty, and I generally wear prong set stuff more. Plus I could probably get those done a lot sooner.

But will I regret not getting the bezels? I'm not sure.

HALP.

I NEVER wear bezel anything either,,,,but that is why I am getting them also.

To be comfy and not get my hair stuck in them.

Why not do bezels with out the side stones??

Technically,..you probably will be the only one to notice the little details on the side of them anyways!! Hide

RE: Bezel or octet?
I was thinking of doing those just to mask the pipe look of the bezel - would 6mms sit high and give me that pipe look? I love how low-set Lorrissey's new ones are, but those are 4.5mm. I wonder if 6mms would sit too high?

Well I dont like the "tube" look,....for me that is..
So I am doing the martini bezels or the bezel C back ones.

you know what I did?? I went to Amazon..and ordered a couple really cheap bezel cz ones to see what size I really want!
They have the tube type,.so maybe do that and see how they sit!!

I say bezels -- with or without the sidestones. But I'm a bezel fiend so.... maybe I'm not the best person to ask. haha.

I do find them more comfy and the hair thing is a plus too. My hair is long and curly too.

RE: Bezel or octet?
Hmm I really like the bezel c-back ones. I just assumed those were custom? Are they stock settings somewhere? Because those would def be my first choice! With milgrain, omg.
