CAD's from David Klass
I have my cads and I thought I would share for some opinions. There will be engraving and milgrain added later. The centre diamond is 6.2mm and the sides 4mm each. The setting will be unplated white gold. Does the shank look too thick?

Here is the inspiration ring.

Pretty inspiration! I can't wait to see this come to life. It seems there is more of a taper on the inspiration than the CADs. I personally would taper even more than the inspiration to have it fir more comfortable on the finger.

I agree. I've emailed him to ask if it can be thinner and taper towards the top of the ring. I think this ring is going to be very pretty!

It looks like there is a ton of metal on either side of the outer stones - compared to the inspiration piece.

There's broke....and then there is whatever I am...*cry*

I agree with more taper and a tiny bit thinner. This is going to be a stunner!

What a beautiful inspiration ring! I agree also that it needs to have a thinner shank. But the original is also very rounded and yours is more squarish all over. Did you want it that way? The gallery sides of the original have a curve out and the CAD is flat. Is that how you like it? It will be very pretty! Can't wait to see!

Oh I love the filigree on the sides of the original ring! Also, thirded/fourthed/fifthed the slimmer sides.

I forgot to add that the original has little prongs inside the octagons but the CAD does not. Are you bezel setting the stones?

RE: CAD's from David Klass
It will have prongs not bezels. How would I word it when I email David? About the sides needing to be more rounded?
