Champagne bubbles
Imagine this ...

Sparkly eye candy found at thefacetlounge.com!

but in yellow gold with champagne diamonds. Crazy? I *might* just be crazy enough to go for it.

I first envisioned it with OEC moissies (imagine that sparklefest!), but also like the play on champagne bubbles. Popcorn

RE: Champagne bubbles
That is a big YES from me!
Yellow gold- TICK
Champagne diamonds- TICK!

I also think this would look fabulous with the bezelling done in YG and the shank in rose.....

I get distracted by shiny things

RE: Champagne bubbles
Mmm! I love this as-is, but sure wouldn't turn down a y/g and champagne version, either! Smile

Oooohh, I didn't think about RG ... shame on me! Toofunny

@CricketBug I definitely wouldn't turn my nose up at it with white diamonds either, but I happen to have a stash of small champagnes on hand that, consequently, would make this a project that wouldn't hit the wallet quite as hard. Wink

RE: Champagne bubbles
Any guesses as to what the mm proportions might be on these?

I am thinking 5/3/2 or 4.5/3/1.5.

RE: Champagne bubbles
ohhh, I think it would be fabulous!

If they were yellow/orange champagne I would do 18k yellow. But if brown champagne, I would do rose.

RE: Champagne bubbles
It will look spectacular SF!
There is a jeweler here in Australia, who showed me a ring she made for herself for her 40th. It was a bubbles ring too, made with varying shades and sizes of champagnes, but prong set. I don't know how many carats she had there but it was gorgeous!!!

RE: Champagne bubbles
I think it will look stunning @SparkleFactor! The nice thing with this design is that it doesn't really matter what sizes you have, having them be random just adds to the charm!

@ringcat Oooo... having different shades of champagnes to white, I like the sound of that!!
