Heart  Choosing a pair of Tahitian earrings!
My Tahitian pearl rampage continues... Insane

Now that I have a full strand necklace and a casual pendant, I am itching for earrings. The good news is my birthday is coming up sort of soon, so I might be able to dump this purchase on my SO, lol.

Sparkly eye candy found at thefacetlounge.com!
It's hard to go wrong when you're choosing between spectacular pearls, and Kevin from PoJ says these are very similar to each other, but I still feel sooo torn. Sometimes giving me a choice is a bad move. I love the shape of the top pair best, but the bottom pair might have a more attractive distribution of colors to me. Both pairs measure out at about 10.3 mm. UGH, how would you choose a favorite?

I'll be setting these as simple dangles. 14k white gold, or maybe rose! I'm thinking french wire hooks, because they're economical and sleek. I know leverbacks are more secure, but I have had the worst luck with them in terms of comfort/ease of application.

I think I like the bottom pair actually, they seem less bumpy.

Thanks for your input! The bottom pair were the first ones that leaped out at me, but I can't help but second guess everything.

For your entertainment, the full spread of colorful pearls:

A smooth, round pair with dove body color and aquamarine overtones is next on my wishlist, but that'll have to wait for Christmas. I should have taken the warnings that pearls could get addictive more seriously!

I must confess that I thought about that one! Though I am more accepting and even enamored of baroque pearl quirks than most people, the asymmetry in the pair didn't click with me. Now, if the top pearl in that pair had a silver nubbin like the bottom one did, it would be a game changer! XD

yeah, I don't like that nib part, but the colour is ideal to me.

I like the shape and colour of the left side, they look easier to get a finding to work with the top. I love the colour of the next one .. second from left..but the nub on top requires some working around, not a fan of nubs lol
