Fat Emerald Cuts
I'm getting 2 of these fatty stones:

From a fellow BTD'er.

My setting ideas are:

-incredible solitaire with double claw prongs (like Azra)
-LM 5-stone
-3-stone with side traps
-E/W semi-bezel

Any other ideas or like one of the above strongly?

RE: Fat Emerald Cuts
I'm leaning towards solitaire or 3-stone. Definitely can't afford an LM right now and with these proportions, I wouldn't be able to replace it down the road with an AG or what have you...

So I'm thinking of this as more of a fun ring, so I'm leaning towards making one a solitaire and the other a 3-stone with side traps.

But thinking about possibly making one E/W so it's not too similar.

RE: Fat Emerald Cuts
I love EC 3 stones, with smaller ECs as sides.

RE: Fat Emerald Cuts
3-stone with EC sides is a contender. Do you think that Asscher sides would work with since the stones are more fatty?

These are my top setting ideas:

3-stone with Asscher sides:

3-stone with Trap sides:

So far, I'm leaning towards the top 2.

I absolutely adore the first ring. The biggest issue will be finding the right size side stones. What do you think size wise would be the best fit?

The side traps and baguettes are really pretty and lovely, but do feel a bit tired. But at the same time, there is something classic about them that I'm drawn to.

I love all four, I'm a tiny bit more obsessed with the bottom two.
