RE: I t
I say go for the unenhanced OEC, but if you have color sensitivies go for the FB OEC.

Love that setting! There was one on the bistro with a 9mm Asha OEC. I have kicked myself for not moving sooner on it. When I finally decided I wanted it, of course it had sold. Sad

I think the FI likes it too....he seems to have a bit of reservation with the setting top....seems to prefer a 4 or 6 prong.....He def likes the unenhanced....just showed him the comparison vids/pics, he also thinks an 8mm looks too big.....I disagree, although I don't want the ring to scream "fake" I think since it is a larger setting than a plain one that a small stone would appear teeny....

I actually find the 8mm size to be like the cinderella glass slipper size for most people. I think 8mm looks great on just about every size hand. It doesn't make any sense, but it just does.

What size are you?

Are you trying to pull this off as a diamond?

8mm is a good size and I believe unenhanced is better. I like that setting. It's pretty.

One day, I'll be a crazy old lady weighed down by all my baubles and it will be glorious.

Thank you gals...Beth just got back to me....I am DEF going through Schubach Big Grin.....My ring finger is a 7.5 I am 6 ft tall and curvey, but definitely not fat...so I think an 8mm would be fine.....I don't really give a #*$&%@ whether anyone thinks it's a diamond or not....ethically I'm not sure I could wear one...but the FI to be doesn't want anyone to think he's skimping...He's offered the real deal, but I really like moissys....sigh.......but I have been with him for a DECADE, with 2 kids and I love him <3

Plus we couldn't afford a 2 carat diamond anyway and I do NOT want him charging this...It's not what love is really about...

I think that ring, with an unenhanced 8mm OEC in either yellow or rose gold. Heart Heart Heart

And I would be a brat and pass it off as an antique. Wink
