RE: MoissyCo cultured rubies
I found this website because of this discussion.

Rubies are my birthstone and I am thinking of splurging on a nice pair of earrings as a bday present to my self this summer. I had never heard of cultured rubies before I started researching. Would people here know or be just as happy with lab grown rubies?

Lab grown are beautiful but they will lack the silkiness of mined rubies.  Lab rubies are very clean usually, and most natural rubies do have some inclusions.  That said, if that difference does not bother you, I think lab grown gems are a great, affordable way to get pretty colourful stones.  I have a mix of natural and lab stones and I love them all.

@Gemma there's a ring for sale right now on DB that has one of the MoCo cultured rubies in it. It's not too pricey, so might be worth ordering it to see what you think Smile
