Smile  My BFF's E- Ring**FINISHED PICS** the ring is HERE!!!!
I decided to make a new post so I don't clog up the project thread.

I am helping my BFF with her engagement she is giving my other BFF. lol
Here is the ring below and then the new CADs I received today.

The plan is:
Platinum
Rose Gold head
6 Champagne diamonds for the shank
A hidden Amethyst inside the shank (anniversary month)
1.5ct center Pink Moissanite cushion
Size 4.5

Let me know what you think...because you know me with CADs. My only comment is that the second CAD looks squared off on the sides a little - no?

RE: My BFF's Engagement Ring
I don't think so... cads are so hard. You could ask for a softer squared edge, but the original is pretty squared off too. I think it is prett close!! Smile You shank will be wider because your stone is larger, and the proportion looks the same.

That looks pretty similar to me. It does seem squared off, but I can't tell if the original photo is squared off too? Seems like it is, but the bands hide it a bit. Where do the 6 champagne diamonds go?

RE: My BFF's Engagement Ring
lol, just ask him to make sure it is a softened edge, but I bet it is and it just does not translate well to the 1D cad. Smile

See them on the sides of the shank - the part facing the two bands? The picture shows 2 champane and 1 colorless. EEEK I just noticed it's colorless, maybe I should do pink or something?

RE: My BFF's Engagement Ring
Do you have a photo of the ring without the bands?

I'm not sure about the basket... seems like it sticks out where as the photo shows the bands sit very flush.

Oh I see them now! I think having them all champagne will look nicer. The one colorless one draws attention away from the center stone, I think.
