Exclamation  Need help!
So, here is my problem... I need to choose between 2 rings I have been looking at. I
really like both of them. I know they are two very different styles. I just need all my sparkle sisters opinions. Please be honest about what you like and what you don't like. I want this ring to be around for many many years!

(In no particular order.)

Btw- It would be set with an Amora OEC 2ct.

And lastly what style of prongs!?!

I think I like #2 best. I like the double prongs.

One day, I'll be a crazy old lady weighed down by all my baubles and it will be glorious.

#2 by far, I don't like the way the side pave is done on the first.

RE: Need help!
same, the pave on the first bugs me. It looks a bit gear like.

The second would be great with the OEC as well. Smile Is the milgrain cast or by hand?

Yeah, the split shank is definitely not flattering. There's a little too much going on for my taste.

I like the millegrain ring MUCH MUCH better. Wink

I wonder how the 2nd ring would look with 6-tulip prongs. Less chance of them being uneven, perhaps.. Uneven prongs always bug me

2nd. Not sure about prongs. Personally I like 4 prong split but 6 would look nice too.

RE: Need help!
I also much prefer the single shank over the split shank. There's something off kilter about that "bubbled" split shank look -- I've yet to see one anywhere that I think is attractive. Also, the straight band allows you a variety of band options in the future, where the bubbled split does not.

As for prongs, now that I've seen and own claw prongs, there's no other option for me. It's like once you have real cranberries, you never look at the canned jelly stuff the same way. Smile

These are both stock settings. Who would you have make the ring for you?

Sharp mind, soft belly.
