like royal blue, like MrsK's Roise blue? What colour spinel? What about grey? Dana at Mastercut said if I can find a badly cut spinel with a window, he will recut it for me. He has nothing large enough.

You know I am an blue stone/rose gold evangelist.

I would do a velvet kashmir blue. I think that a good synthetic blue spinel is the prettiest color. If you can get the right sapphire it's good. If I remember, your last blue sapphire blacked out a lot - I think you need something vibrant.

You could do a lilacy-grey. I think it would look lovely on you and match the pearls!!

I like both those ideas. I have to search around and see if I can find anything.

Another vote for lilac-grey or maybe a bright red ruby. Smile

I love MrsK's Rosie Blue and would vote for a dark blue sapphire myself. That would be super pretty.

What are you going to do with the OEC? Are you going to sell it? Smile

This is tough...Are you feeling a desire for a natural stone versus lab?

I like the idea of a lilac-grey color, too. OTOH, you do already have a large BP and that's a pastel stone and you are working on the morganite which is also a soft, watery color. So, I'm not sure how many pastel-stoned rings you want/need.

I also love a medium-bright blue like MrsK's Rosie in RG - it's a fabulous color contrast and very unusual. Just depends on what you want.

I want pastels in every colour!!! Crackup But I also want some jewel tones. I want everything. Confused

Lab or natural, I am not fussed. As long as it is pretty, and the cut is nice.

Yes, LaLa, I will sell it. Or make a pendant. It feels large for a pendant... but I am undecided.

Milady, I can't do rubies in rose gold. It just doesn't work for my eyes, lol.
