No mixed metals in jewellery cleaner?
Hello ladies

I've just bought a new jewellery cleaner, and given my rings a good scrub after the longest ever period of not cleaning! A week and a half!! They have come up sparkly and I'm happy again.

BUT.

The cleaner specifically says in bold letters:   "Do not mix different colours or types of metal while cleaning."

How important is this? I'm really tempted to put in my platinum e-ring and rose gold eternity band together but don't want anything bad to happen.

Any ideas?

The brand is Weiman.

So I tried it, and it seems fine. No idea why they say that but it seems gold and platinum together are fine.

With pure metals, they cannot really ruin each other. If something was cheap and plated or something... maybe, I guess. But I am glad it was fine! I always clean mixed things together and never even thought not to.
