Perma-dent fingers
I just saw this comment in a different thread:

I totally have this! Show me photos of your deformed fingers, girls. Blush Here is mine...

@Hadley - yours is not too bad actually. You should see what my ring finger looks like after pregnancy swelling! Looks pretty gross. Will have to keep wearing my rings now all the time just to hide the ugly perma dent! Will post deformed finger pics shortly

Whoa! Reason #1,000 to not wear rings to bed...Last night I took mine off before going to bed and put it back on after my shower. Easy peasy. I am a changed woman. Thanks @jenncent!

I get this sometimes for a bit when I wear my rings for a long time during the day. I am one that takes off my jewels as soon as I get home and if I'm doing any strenuous activity. I sure do baby my jewels Smile

RE: Perma-dent fingers
I never ever ever take off my wedding ring! not for longer than absolutely necessary (like the 5 minutes it took to take the following photo). it's a part of my body now, so I don't mind what my finger looks like underneath. xD

I hate taking it off because...
a) feels naked without it on, and
b) if I take it off regularly I will lose it guaranteed

but I'm not sure there's any permanent damage? I think my fingers may naturally taper under the knuckle. I never wear rings on that middle finger but it also cinches in. eh

+1

I will post mine when I can get the rings off...still have terrible swelling, too, @Becleeham ! What gives with all the swelling? I love my finger corset, lol. Women's bodies are supposed to be curvy. Lol

@mewt - you have lovely hands and my sentiments exactly! My rings feel like extentions of me.

RE: Perma-dent fingers
If I could get my rings off Right now I would photograph my perma dent. We are on the road cross country eating garbage so they're firmly stuck in place. No removing for me ever! It's a job! If I size larger they're too big and spin. Oh well, bury me in them! Crackup
