Pics of Amora and FB side by side
I got BMV's Amora 5mm OEC stones and thought I would take a pic and vid of them next to my FB OEC. I think it is hard to tell if they are that much different in color since the ones are small next to the 8mm. Looks like a good 3 stone ring though? Smile

Ignore the clicking on the video - I couldn't get my stupid camera to shut off.

I love that size ratio between the center and sides! It's a perfect combination of not too much sameness, but not so different that it looks like a solitaire with only accent sides.

Now to be a dissenter... I think I wouldn't be able to deal with the color differences / how much whiter the side stones are. I am super anal. Super man has his man cape; I have an anal cape. (There, try to get THAT image out of your mind!!!)

Sharp mind, soft belly.

The Amora look whiter to me (as you would expect with smaller stones), but the FB looks like a much better cut.

Do you really think they are that much whiter? I guess I don't see it. I think that was more why I posted this.

That 8mm is for my other ring anyway. Smile

No 3 stone for me right now.

I agree the Amoras look whiter, but they are much smaller as you said. I'm really drawn to the FB though - the faceting pattern looks richer somehow. More lights and darks instead of just all white. I wonder why that is?

So I had to take some more pics on a white background. I think they are all a bit dirty with fingerprints but I love the cut of my FB.

The FB is also likely reflecting he black of the camera, as it is right in front of it. The bottom of the stones look really similar for colour.

I couldn't stand it, I had to clean them and take more pics. I really think I love the FB!
