Question  Scroll Setting and cleaning
Help :-) I am not able to get to the bottom of the stone to clean it or dry it. What do you all do for stones that are inside of a basket? Thank you :-) I am a cleaning freak and I noticed it looks slightly dirty underneath....possibly water spots because I can't get to it to dry it.

RE: Scroll Setting and cleaning
I would let it soak a bit in cleaner and then use a toothbrush to scrub it. Can you let it air dry after cleaning?

RE: Scroll Setting and cleaning
Soak in cleaner, scrub with a new baby tooth brush, and dry with the cool air on a blow drier for no air spots.

RE: Scroll Setting and cleaning
I've read using distiller water eliminates water spots? And the blow dryer...good luck!

RE: Scroll Setting and cleaning
I do all of that to the areas I can access with the brush.....the areas of the stone that are not able to be scrubbed because they are inside of the basket is what I am concerned about :-) I guess just a soak and air dry for those areas?

RE: Scroll Setting and cleaning
soak it in warm water, a drop of dish soap, and some alcohol for 5 minutes, swish it around, rinse. Or if there is no pave you can use an ultrasonic cleaner, use a hairdryer on warm not hot to dry.

RE: Scroll Setting and cleaning
My scrolls are not large enough to get a brush through to scrub. There is also a smaller frame inside the scrolls to frame the stone.....so the bottom of the stone is pretty protected. I am probably not explaining it well :-)

RE: Scroll Setting and cleaning
well soaking in cleaner, like MrsK's coconut one or Gem Care, on a regular basis should prevent anything from building up on it.

RE: Scroll Setting and cleaning
Does your scroll setting have an inner frame as well Jenn? I will do the soaking and brush where I can :-) Thank you!
