Show me your jewelry box please
No, really ... what do you store your jewelry IN vs what's IN it ... just this once.

I have a couple cheesy JBs that really feel kind of juvenile (not "Hello Kitty" juvenile). LOL I just need to upgrade! I prefer to keep the more valuable stuff in my safe, even overnight, tedious as that might sound. And I need to get creative with how I store things in there as my collection grows. But a new one for on top of the bureau would be nice also.

For in the safe, I was thinking about a couple of those glass lid trays that stack & have defined sorting for bracelets, rings, earrings, etc. so if you have something like that, I would love to see it (or a link to something similar if you don't want to share your personal JB), or read how it works for you. I saw a couple on amazon that might work, but have no clue on how well made they might be.

I just know I need to do something ... When I stick my hand in there, I don't know if I will come out with a diamond ring or my Glock .380, or both. Confused

@SparkleFactor - Check out this thread started by Grapefruitlove - she ended up with a great jewelry box with pics on page 3. But read from the beginning too, some other great suggestions posted as well

HA! I don't keep my P238 (Sig 380) or my M&P 9mm in my JB! I have the HSN stacking ones I bought on Diamond Bistro and they work great.

@Bling It On thanks much! I will defiantly check that out!

@idahosubaru high 5! I am on a wait list for the S&P 9mm compact ... It's crazy! And lately (here at least), 380 ammo is the new 22 ... It's all MIA. Sad

RE: Show me your jewelry box please
DH reloads so we are good and I hate ammo prices on 380. Totally sucks here. I have had my 9mm compact for about 5 years and love it so much. It is my annual qualifying weapon.

Sorry ladies - back to the bling....

Guns and bling love them both!

RE: Show me your jewelry box please
@Bling It On @idahosubaru I am really torn on the HSN tarnish free box & the customized stackers. The HsN box would probably be easier to take in/out of the safe, but would probably not hold everything in one place, meaning I would still need another one for the non silver/valuable items. The Stacker system would not fit reasonably in the safe, but would likely hold everything with an additional tray or two. Does the stacker unit have a lock on it of some kind?

RE: Show me your jewelry box please
@idahosubaru oh snap ... I just saw this larger one which has tons of storage space ... ugh decisions decisions ... Does the tarnish prevention really work? I have several silver pieces, and end up not wearing some as much because before I rotate back to them, they need a polish again. Sad

RE: Show me your jewelry box please
@SparkleFactor I have that box and it is great. I bought mine when they were doing it in a snake or other reptile surface and it is grey. TONS of space. The only issues I have with it are that the top lid sometimes does not want to stay open and it does not lock, so I need to be aware of my toddler when she is in my closet. So far the tarnish prevention is working really well.

Yes it does work well because I do not have to polish my silver earrings if I keep them in there.

RE: Show me your jewelry box please
Thanks so much to the ladies who responded! I have settled on these two items from HSN:

Sparkly eye candy found at thefacetlounge.com!

The large one can stay on my dresser, the smaller ring box can fit in the safe nicely. I will circle back with pics once they arrive in case others have questions or want to see non-stock pics. Smile
