Question  Unplated white gold?
What does it look like? Is it warmer than plated? I do not think I have seen it.

RE: Unplated white gold?
Hi I will include the following photo. The rolling ring is white, yellow gold and rose gold. The white gold I recently had rhodium plated. The ering is unplated white gold. I think if you look closely you can see the warmth of the ering compared to the wedding band white gold ring. I hope.
I'll look for more where you can see the difference side by side.

ETA Oh my, sorry for the large photos. The second photo I think shows the difference in white color the best.

RE: Unplated white gold?
It is definitely warmer than rhodium plated white gold. It depends on the alloy used with the gold as to what the exact color will be. I've had a couple of pieces of unplated white gold which were different colors.

elliemay posted this on PS:

A - plat (950/ru)
B - unplated 18k nickel wg from e-wb, custom piece (different manufacturer)
C - unplated 18k nickel wg from e-wb, stock piece
D - plated 18k wg from WF
E - 22k

RE: Unplated white gold?
Not sure if this helps. The 3 stone is unplated 18k white and the band is 18k rhodium plated. The unplated is warmer but only slightly.

RE: Unplated white gold?
Many of the current white gold alloys are whiter than in the past. Not quite as "whello". Even for those who like it really white, not as much need to continually rhodium plate.
