I really think it will add great visual texture! I say go for it, but I am an enabler Wink One day I am going to make you help me find strands to pull together for a nice long rope for me Big Grin

She also has some where she did three three, or three big, one small.... I don't want to take away from the ripples, but I want some extra length. 18" and that size is claustrophobic on my neck for me.

I've seen those, but *personally* I prefer the 1 big/1 small look

The good thing about pearls is that is I wear it like this and decide I want it different, I can have it restrung. And it is not too expensive on something this length. Custom rings is a whole other thing, lol. I am sure I love them together, I am just not sure how.

I hear that. I'm aiming for 19 for sure.

what about every 4th or 5th pearl, and then two at the back by the clasp? More of the ripples, with some metallics rounds throughout, but the visual will MOSTLY be the ripples?

Cathy said also the bigger the pearl, the more length you need. I am just rambling here, but I know where I want the center pearl to lay, but don't know how to measure how long that needs to be. I want it where 19-20" of 8mm pearls would fall.

I thought of that too, Stardust. I am going to look for pics. They are hard to find though.

RE: combining 2 strands
Yea, I would think something where the bigger pearls are more towards the bottom of the necklace interspersed with the smaller ones - but more smaller ones toward the back of the necklace.

There's broke....and then there is whatever I am...*cry*
