new ring ideas
So I decided to sell everything and start all over.

But here's what I know:
-I love 3-stones
-I need bezels
-I love milgrain

I was pretty smitten when I saw this Titanic ring:
Sparkly eye candy found at thefacetlounge.com!

Doubly smitten because of the OECs and the Pear as I'm currently lusting over pears.

So I decided to order one of these as a test ring to check for size etc.

I think this could finally be it.

RE: new ring ideas
I have a couple of concerns as I have also decided I want to go the moissy route.

I don't understand it as I have no issues with my CZ bands, but for some reason I'm self-conscience about my Asha. I guess it really is a mind-clean thing. Even though it's kinda backwards CZ = no issue, but Asha = self-conscience. I don't get it either.

So my concerns are:
-mixing modern pear cut with OECs (is this bad?)
-figuring out if an FB pear will match color wise to unenhanced OECs or get them all FB.

My back-up plan is this ring if it's still available and my test ring doesn't work out.

The moissy pear is chunky so will match just fine, imo. I would view the stones first, so you can be sure, and I would get all FB. Pears are warm and OEC are warm. Smile

I love that ring too!!! My pear is pretty chunky and warm even though it is FB. I am hoping for OEC earrings for Christmas. If I get them, I will take a pic of them together Smile

RE: new ring ideas
And in typical me fashion, I'm a hot mess.... Here's my short list of other rings I'm contemplating:

-E/W Krupps in SS with tapered FCs
-Krupps in LM tapered FC
-Asscher in LM 5-stone
-Azra do over with a slightly bigger Krupps or with a 9mm Asscher
-an LM inspired 3-stone using unenhanced OECs
-Kaleigh's Oval with Half Moons by LM
-something about this ring always gets me too

Just based on my short list -- looks like I probably need to get an LM as I tend to gravitate towards his rings most often.

At the moment I'm gravitating towards the 3-stone OEC ring as I know I like the OEC moissys and that's a simpler LM setting that won't break the bank.

I love the Asha Krupps and Asschers, but I think I may have to save those dreams for the AG.

So the only other real contenders are the Oval and half-moons and the titanic ring. I hesitate on going for a moissy oval because I had a bad experience with one in the past, and moissy half moons are funny looking.

So really it's a fight between the 3-stone OEC and the titanic ring.

hmm....

To be continued...
