There's a fair bit of info missing - what about abalone pearls, nautilus, and even rainbow lipped (Cortez) and, of course, freshwater.
That poster is very much the world according to Mikimoto which is one company's own corner of a whole pearl world. (and these days most of their pearls, from whatever source, are bought in. They grown very little themselves)

I saw quite a lot of melo-melo and conch pearls at the recent Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair 2013. E.g.

Every single one of the pearls in this display is huge, so you can't get a sense of how big they are:
