Heart  pretty morganite
So I was looking for some morganite to recut. Joe found me these. Ignore the cuts, I am using them as rough. They are all huge! Woot I love love love the colour of the pinks.

BUT, surprisingly, I picked the peach for what I am doing. It just looks better with the ring I am setting it in. Wink

RE: morganite
they are huge. The round is 16mm, the oval is 12x18 I think. My peachy one, I am not sure, but my setting holds a 10mm, and it looks like it could eat my setting.

RE: morganite
Wow those are honkers! I love the pink one. I feel the peach is almost too matchy with the metal, but might think differently once it's set. Fun project Jenn!!!

RE: morganite
Thanks all!!

JJB, that is why I like it actually. I like the tone on tone colouring. Not everyone's preference though, I know. Wink

Wow! That would make an amazing necklace. Or tiara, lol. Like, a casual tiara.

RE: morganite
LOL, that is what I said. Apparently it is really old too, from a retired gem dealer that had it in his stash for years, and just sold it now. So I think it is pretty cool, but it is quite the purchase.
